Indication :
Azovit Gold is indicated for the prevention and treatment of Vitamin & Mineral deficiency.
It’s a complete daily nutritional supplement, which is used to maintain the micronutritional requirements like generalized weakness, excessive wrinkles for age, chronic diseases, frequent infections, difficulty recovering from an infection, osteoporosis, various cancers, cardiovascular disease, neurological disease like stroke, alzheimer disease, prevention of cataract and degenerative disease of eye, smoking, heavy exercises, air pollution/radiation, slow healing of injuries, chronic dieting etc.
Dose And Administration
General Dose :
One tablet daily or as directed by the physician. Not formulated for use in children.
Side Effect :
Though the preparation is well tolerated, diarrhea may occasionally occur during treatment with Beta Carotene and the skin may assume a slightly yellow discoloration. The side effects of Vitamin A are reversible. Vitamin C and Vitamin E may cause diarrhea and other gastrointestinal disturbances.
Precaution :
Excess Vitamin A intake may be toxic and may increase the risk of birth defects. Pregnant women and women who intend to become pregnant should not exceed 5,000 IU total per day pre-formed Vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate). Folic Acid alone is improper therapy in the treatment of pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias where vitamin- B is deficient.

Contraindication :
Azovit Gold should not be used by patients with pre-existing hypervitaminosis D or with impaired renal function, Iron accumulation and Iron utilization disorders, hypercalcaemia or hypercalciuria and hypersensivity to any ingredient of the product.
Drug Interaction :
No drug interaction has been reported.
Pharmaceutical Precaution :
Store in a cool (below 30oC) and dry place. Keep away from light.
